This thread is for discussion of the series "Air". Please post comments, worksafe images and general triva. For those who have seen the series before, please refrain from posting spoilers until the relevant episode has been shown; we don't want to spoil it for the others now do we?

To start off some discussion: Air is one of many recent animes based on dating games and visual novels, what do you make of this trend?...

Always happy ta help; now you know how others feel when you are rudely dismissive of either their experience, the facts they present, or their point of view. As I said, enjoy your happy little world ;)...

Hey, it appeared to me around 90% didn't care for it (assumption is if it is great you'd stay, right?); sorry I assumed because the big finale had a very low attendance, that 90% is a bit lop sided towards that figure :) Then again this proves the problem of anecdotal stories.

I'm glad you did say something like that though Phil to refute me properly. Personal ad hominem attacks are just rubbish; so thanks Alex, anything you say about this I'll ignore now. I'm not going to sink to name calling.

It would also seem to me that a lot of the people Andrew may be misunderstanding as not liking the series, are simply not too bothered because they have seen it before. A number of people in fairness have seen Elfen Lied many times before and arne't bothered about watching it again, hence why they leave for the pub. They will all attest that it is a great series, just that they dont want to watch it a 50 millionth time...

Hi there Urluck!!! Welcome! My name is Washu, I'm secretary and have been a regular since 2008. Please dont worry about being new- I found it hard not to be when I was in your shoes too but everyone is very welcoming and people will come over and talk to you. You'll find alot of people like various anime so there's plenty to talk about. We look forward to seeing you at the next meet and getting to know you better....

Hi there, got a little diversion for you all, spawned at the pub. The rules are simple, pick an anime series title, and replace one world with "stalin", then post it here.

Some examples:

Revolutionary Girl Stalin
Bludgeoning Angel Stalin-chan
Fist of the North Stalin

Have fun....
