Oh, in a happy coninceidence, this anime shares voice talent with Gurren Lagann and Genshiken. Anybody else recognise who?

Moyashimon is a fun little comedy, totally apt for University-aged people Not totally perverse, and there isn't one central story (thank goodness) since they seem to use every character they have and then some. Fun to not see it devolve into a use-the-characters-special-power-every-episode event, like recently when it basically wasn't used at all, especially since the "lead" isn't exactly the most charismatic of souls!

Fun to learn random silly agricultural things I'll never need to know again too.

Shame we're missing the ending credits comedy - there's usually a 20 or so second sketch there.

To start off with the only thing i liked about the anime was the opening credits. I usually have problems with 13 episode animes since they dont give me a chance to get truly engrossed in it. Saying that it's one of the better ones i've seen, it isnt difficult to follow and the characters are likeable. I have a lecturer at university just like Hasegawa in pretty much every way (including the scary way). 13 episode animes should be light hearted in nature, if you try ramming so much plot into each episode it goes over people's heads, i'm glad i got by the first few episodes, how could anyone miss a wasted Hasegawa? Also the microbes are kind of cute.
