Hi there ^^

I have just started a PhD at Nottingham uni and I have been an anime and manga fan for a number of years now (nearly 10 D= Makes me feel old!) so I'm looking forward to coming along and meeting you all =) Fingers crossed I will be able to make it on Tuesday!

I haven't had much time to watch anime lately, moving up from London and starting at uni has been very busy, but I hope to have more time to watch once I get more settled. This also explains why I haven't come to one of the recent showings! As well as watching/reading I enjoy drawing too, so I hope to meet any other artists here too =)

Welcome and see you there. Make sure you hang around afterwards for the pub visit (we've got Werewolf!).

Shame you missed the Saturday games day too

I don't think I will be able to stick around after this week, I will need to be heading home before the showing is finished =( Hopefully next week I will make it to the pub =)

The avatar is one I use for the Legend of the Five Rings boards (www.l5r.com); I think I'd probably describe L5R as a world setting/fiction/rpg/cosplay/card game with themes akin to A Game of Thrones but set in a pseudo-feudal Japan. The Imperial House/Clan I'm affiliated to is Lion, hence the ears

Where's your avatar from? It seems familiar but I can't place it. It reminds me of art by Clamp.
