Probably not. It's the cinematic equivalent of a bad kebab. You may enjoy it at the time, but you regret it afterwards. The action sequences are truely special, but they are padded out with some, awful, awful, tasteless attempts at humour. The twins get a lot of the blame for this, as they seem to be
racial stereotypes who take up a lot of screentime, but there's also the dogs and Wheelie. I'm not going to get into how they treated the mythos, it would take too long. I think my eyes glazed over at the time, I can forgive a lot if huge robots are involved, but once I processed it, gah.
Rotten tomatoes gives it 22%. Mind you, I think it might be a marmite movie, there doesn't seem to be much middle ground in the public opinion. Some hate, some love it, with nothing in between.
I'd give more specific objections, but I'm wary of giving spoilers, and a lot of what I disliked isn't work safe anyway. I will say though, that I am very disappointed by the movie, and it made me embaressed to be Transformers fanboy, once my brain turned back on.
