Couple more; finally getting round to watching
Midori Days which I picked up a couple of years ago
I'm sure Richard has a few things to say about that series *smirk* I'm enjoying it so far though
Another series I've gotten round to watching (still way too many DVD's to watch) is
Piano.
A surprising little gem for me this one, the story revolves around Miu Nomura, a 14 yr old girl who has been studying piano most of her life. She's a quiet unassuming girl who begins to feel the weight of her life as she loses track of just why she plays the piano, something which has driven most of her life.
Add on top the worries of her energetic best friends romantic troubles, along with her own budding feelings for a boy she watches from afar, and you begin to get one of those heart-warming stories that while never reaching the heights of action or gripping drama instead set themselves a steady nostalgic pace that lets you wander unhurried through the pleasant days of an adorable teenage girls life.
I'm sure its the kind of thing that will bore most of you to tears, but for me it's pure slice-of-life bliss that can't help but bring a gentle smile to my face. Very reminiscent of
Someday Dreamers, another of my favourites, so if you a fan of its ilk I recommend giving this one a try.
