Dick Grayson was the son of a family of acrobats, who goes on to be Batman's sidekick, Robin, after his family dies in dodgy circumstances. There are plans afoot to make a TV series before then, ala the Superman prequel series Smallville.So what we have here is a series based around the least popular character associated with Ol'Bats, with no powers or obvious purpose, where we are just waiting for half the cast to die.
