I'd be so annoyed if I actually had any care at all for this series. Nothing worse than expecting a 3rd series, but getting a 5 episode OVA!

Air date is 17th of July.

Not really. If I was told "new series", then that's what I'd expect. To find out it was half the size of what I was expecting, I'd be very disappointed! Granted, something is better than nothing, but only is it worthwhile, if it is done properly! Waiting about two years for 5 episodes worth of new anime is a huge kick to the you-know-what's! I hope for your sake that you like it!

Besides, there are quite a few things that should not be extended. Sometimes leaving things as they are is the best thing. Tenchi Muyo is a prime example of this for me. I wished there would be a 3rd OVA, but once I'd seen it...

I've no idea why it's delayed, nor how they produced this stuff - although it's based on a Manga series right? Usually they tend to actually stick more to those plots. If this OVA is just a plot from that, well, it fits in about as well as the other entirely separate episodes in the main series (where you can tell "That's the end of this one, next episode we do something entirely different for half a dozen!". Still a shame it's not more then one plot, but oh well, movie-length is sometimes better. Does depend I guess.

In any case, yeah, some series are fine to just end. No remakes please (god no to the Cowboy Bebop live action thing...gah!).
