I understand what you are getting at rhys i to hate the whole political incorrectness whats good whats bad for me thing, I do however think that this one does need a warning.

To me Black lagoon didnt go out of its way to shock or offend anyone it had a lot of what you call "black humour" in it even scenes like the maid and revy beating seven shades out of each other raised a smile.

Higurashi on the other hand does seem to go out of its way to shock, personally i can stomach such scenes as that, but even so it still took me off guard/caught me by suprize.

As for if the series is any good??? to early to say.
