I'm in favour of having it on at least to see how it goes, but I draw the line at taking it seriously, haha.
It is fine, for instance, to watch early films and comment on how, literally, they were filmed plays - and also, usually absolutely boring to watch. I think this series has no real depth (certainly in the characters...but we'll see), and after 2 episodes, it basically has barely got the ship off the ground. I hope the rest are not so slow!
The problem is also, like you say, the length. This is 26 episodes long, rather epic, might get boring for some. That's 12 more weeks, 3 months of watching it
