Tis not often I agree with Rhys on anime, but I'd agree that the Love Hina anime does get stale kinda fast that way.

The manga's a lot better due to its character development, but even then it's pushing it towards the final volumes.

Glad to see when Ken moved on to the Negima manga he learn how to properly use action to raise the entertainment bar a good 100 notches.

I have to agree. I've only ever watched 4 episodes of Love Hina and I'm sure could guess plots of the remainder.

I kinda like LH.. Still say when namsoc was showing that and eva it was one of the best times! ^_^

Yes it was! With the exception of one giant, round, loud , black, white and green thing. But you could roll off a long list of great series' that were all on around that time. Trigun, GTO, Slayers, Nadesico, Bebop, Azumanga, Onegai Teacher.....etc.

Lesson learned. Ken Akamatsu manga don't get converted to anime as well as you hope. I don't mind them, though, because I can laugh at the same joke over and over.

Gotta love Ken Akamatsu's work Love hina. (Also a fan of Mahou sensei Negima)

Who found what better the anime or manga? the manga's still being released in U.K

I adore LH, one of the first animes i got seriously into. the original series covered volumes 1-10 of the manga, if i remember correctly, with "again" covering volumes 11 and 12, and done by a different production company, and much more ecchi. not that i don't like the ecchi, but i kinda find "again" a bit embarassing, lol... volumes 13 and 14 were never anime-ised, but i have both volumes, to finish off the story

OK I feel I have to step up to defend Love Hina as it it very possibly my Second or third favourite Manga (admittedly the Anime isn't as good it but is still very enjoyable and has a cracking theme tune)

Yes it may be a cliched as they come but the whole series just refuses to take itself seriously (Giant mecha Turtles anyone?)

The series does not go into as much Character depth as the manga and so there does lose a little something but still is a very enjoyable series, and with the follow on specials and Love Hina again do make a good weekends watching
