Who doesnt love the dancing flower?


I religiously read the manga and seen the series before, but for sure the first 5 minutes felt way more eerie in a dark crowded room for some reason.

It's cause you think more crowded rooms are prone to mass murders 0.o

I think someone should cosplay the dancing flower

But so far I literally think nothing to the series. It's one episode in so I dunno

I think it was more to do with the sound than anything XD

I got a nicely sized cosplay group planned but no one has got the role of the dancing flower yet

Ah what a shame. And I would have so done it if I didn't have my 4 cosplays planned for Kita alredy! And I soooo didn't type that sentence with over exaggerated sarcasm in mind!

But yeah, series wise, I guess I'm just gonna have to see how things turn out before making an opinion

ZOMG DO IIIIIT!!!!!! Was intended for a serious group but some humour would be fabulous! For the Kita group so far we have a Ganta, Yoh, Makina, and 2 others that haven't appeared in the series yet Ill update as we meet the characters ^__^




As for the series itself, starts off as very WTF, deffo not for the faint of heart but it does get better from now

As a fan of the manga watching episode 2 I understand why I ragequit watching the anime there when it first came out.

Re-read that part of the manga after coming home to make sure it wasn't just worse than I remembered and it just executed everything much better with the anime, Ganta wasn't punching out a martial arts champ, the martial arts champ wasn't getting styled on by a guard with a sword and Ganta whined less and manned up faster in a more believable way.

Also we are missing a named character who plays a fairly important part later on in the manga. (I don't think this is a spoiler since the character is AWOL here so later on in the manga probably doesn't mean anything to it anymore)

I'm not quite ready to deny all existance of an adaption like with certain game to anime adaptions which didn't happen, but it's getting there.

After the episodes we've seen so far, I LOVE THE DANCING FLOWER!!!

Unfortunately the series does not live up to the flowery awesomeness. Deadman Wonderland does not have the suspense of Higurashi, the brutality of Elfen Lied or the distasteful gore of Gantz. What we're unfortunately left with is a relatively safe battle anime aimed at a post-shonen audience with sanitised adult leanings.

Not my bag, but to each their own
