This thread, much delayed, sorry, is for discussion of the series "Excel Saga". Please post comments, worksafe images and general triva. For those who have seen the series before, please refrain from posting spoilers until the relevant episode has been shown; we don't want to spoil it for the others now do we?

It's been a while since I've seen it, but I still love it to death. I personally think the dub is funnier, if only because some of the dialogue and voice casting is so much more blatantly over-the-top and well-suited to the series. Plus, both of Excel's English VA's deserved medals for their work, especially when one of them literally risked her vocal chords to play the role as brilliantly as she did.

Also, Nabeshin.

Funny, I recently considered watching the whole thing then it won the polls. Im glad to finally see it all now so yay ^_^

I remember it being shown on tele a few years ago but was only able to watch a few episodes of it unfortunately. Its kinda hard watching over the top stuff without fear of explaing to family about its over-the-topness

It's a fun series to watch and being over the top makes it even more awesome for those who like their comedies. I agree that the dub is better as the voices add to the craziness and some of the jokes can be easier to understand but at least I dont have to worry about fearing I'd be half deaf by the time I watch Air XD
