Ahh good glad this has been put up...........let me just break down the first episode a min, opening titles random girls with blood all over them and girl with cleaver. First 30 seconds random dismembering of a body. rest of episode azumanga style comedy............I have no idea were this is going.

Okay, the committee have been discussing this and we have decided to move Higurashi to last 2 slots and warn people of what it is like.

the reason i liked this anime so much and it has done so well was because of the content i feel its just allot of the members are a little to sensitive for that sort of thing.

I don’t think you should take it off or rely have to warn anyone of what it is its an over 18 club anyway this all seems a lot like the black lagoon 2nd barrage reception to me

I understand what you are getting at rhys i to hate the whole political incorrectness whats good whats bad for me thing, I do however think that this one does need a warning.

To me Black lagoon didnt go out of its way to shock or offend anyone it had a lot of what you call "black humour" in it even scenes like the maid and revy beating seven shades out of each other raised a smile.

Higurashi on the other hand does seem to go out of its way to shock, personally i can stomach such scenes as that, but even so it still took me off guard/caught me by suprize.

As for if the series is any good??? to early to say.

but I agree with Rhy we shouldn't have to put a warning on it, but we have decided to and it has been moved after Genshiken and it will not be taken off (I don't think we will take anything off for it being to scary or anything).
